Meet our Visintine & Ryan team:
Priscilla Visintine, Principal
Priscilla Visintine has more than 20 years of expertise in creating, implementing and managing strategic public relations plans for clients in a wide range of industries, including retail, commercial real estate development, professional services, professional cycling and nonprofit organizations.
Her early career was in the hospitality industry, where she developed a keen sense of how successful organizations build and maintain a stellar reputation and positive image in the public arena. Harnessing this acuity with a combination of drive and creativity, Priscilla continues to deliver outstanding results.
She manages regional retail clients including two regions of CBL Malls. In addition, Priscilla works on an ongoing basis with Westfield shopping centers Florida.
Other clients include the Jewish Community Center (JCC), where the agency handled the opening of the new Staenberg Family Complex. Building on that relationship, Visintine & Ryan managed ongoing public relations for both the JCC and the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center. Other current and past clients include The American Association of Orthodontists, Mercy, St. Louis’ Best Bridal, Macy’s and Saint Louis Ballet among others.
In terms of community relations activities, Priscilla works regularly with Mercy, both in St. Louis and Washington, Missouri. In addition to supporting the hospital’s in-house public relations and marketing teams, Visintine & Ryan plans and manages several special events for the hospital. The company has also managed event marketing for Pedal the Cause, GO! Louis, the Gateway Cup, Rebuilding Together St. Louis and St. Louis’ Best Bridal.
She has first-hand experience managing special events with celebrities including Paris Hilton, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, Rick Bayless, Carson Kressley and former St. Louis Cardinal MVP David Freese among others.
Adding another dimension to her experience, Priscilla is noted for her work in professional cycling. She provided media relations support for the AMGEN Tour of California, a professional cycling race featuring seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. She was also the public relations director for the three year history of the Tour of Missouri, an elite professional cycling race established in 2007 for which she traveled the state for the months leading up to each race working with local media and city officials to build awareness and excitement of the Tour.
Passionate about the St. Louis community, Visintine is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together St. Louis, a non-profit organization which provides free home repairs for elderly and low income homeowners so they may remain safely in their own home. Visintine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications from Webster University and graduated with honors.
Janet Ryan, Principal
Janet Ryan is a seasoned public relations professional with more than 25 years of experience in business to business and consumer public relations.
Ryan has worked for some of the country’s top agencies, including Weber Shandwick, Rogers & Cowan Public Relations (Los Angeles) and St. Louis-based Glennon Company. She has direct experience in media relations, community outreach, securing interviews for clients, creative execution of special events and trade shows. An accomplished writer, her work has been published in numerous trade publications, newspapers and other media outlets.
Ryan has a passion for working with organizations that have a genuine interest in building trusting relationships with the communities and industries they serve. She works to completely and thoroughly understand each client’s needs and objectives in order to help them deal effectively with opportunities that make a positive impact on the community, industry and people they serve. She works collaboratively with each client to define their own unique goals, design a tailored plan and then nurture the process to the ultimate realization of their vision.
Ryan recently won national and international awards for her work with ArtSpace, a collaboration of St. Louis artists working out of unused retail space at Crestwood Plaza which garnered national media attention, including coverage on CBS This Morning and a feature story in Parade Magazine. The project received a MAXI award, the highest award given in the shopping center industry.
Recent event-related work includes the Big Pink Blast, the Heart to Heart Fair, and the David C. Pratt Cancer Center anniversary event for St. John’s Mercy Hospital. Janet has also managed event marketing for Pedal the Cause, GO! Louis and the Gateway Cup.
Other current and past clients include Krispy Kreme (St. Louis franchises), GO! St. Louis, Senoret Chemical (consumer pest control), THF Realty, Solutia, Little Tikes Commercial playgrounds, TRUE Fitness, and Convenience Products. National clients include MarineMax (yacht and pleasure boat retailer), Viracon, Montag Window and Doors, Consolidated Construction, and Glazing Consultants Inc. She has also worked on legislative issues for many clients, including hurricane mitigation legislation and local project such as Prop M, for the Metrolink.
Ryan holds a BA in Modern American History from the University of Kansas, with a minor in English. Her educational background includes study at the London School of Economics. She volunteers for her church, children’s schools and Young Life.
Sarah Stiehr, Account Executive & Social Media Strategist
Marketing strategist Sarah Stiehr plans and executes successful marketing, public relations, social media and event-centered campaigns that maximize ROI and elicit change.
Working closely with your team, Sarah leverages 15 years’ experience and of-the-moment social expertise to help you build awareness, customer loyalty and positive brand image. Exceptional planning, organization and communication skills propel her social media management to the next level.
Sarah’s extensive retail background includes marketing management for various Westfield properties, including leading roles in Grand Opening, Redevelopment and acquisition projects for flagship Westfield properties.
As a member of the Corporate Marketing team of Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate, Sarah managed corporate social media strategy and content. She also managed client-facing and internal events including trade shows, sponsorships and the National Leadership Conference.
She has also worked for and with companies including the American Association of Orthodontists, CBL Properties and others in the commercial real estate, healthcare and restaurant industries. Sarah graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of General Studies in Exercise Science with a minor in business from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Laura Wells, Senior Copywriter
Laura Wells is a senior writer with more than 25 years copywriting experience in marketing-communications and public relations. Laura’s skills are wide-ranging, including writing case studies, articles and news releases; editing catalogs; managing website content; writing and producing radio and television commercials; and, creating brand development, advertising campaigns, and collateral materials.
Laura is naturally inquisitive and involves herself in her writing. By understanding the client, the industry, and the target audience, Laura can ensure that the message needed is the message delivered.
Past experience includes Account Manager and Writer with Aon Innovative Solutions, where she managed development of marketing materials for Aon Home Warranty Services and their clients Coldwell Banker, Century 21, and ERA. Laura’s resume includes writing business-to-business and direct-to-consumer pieces for clients in the financial, medical, chemical, insurance, architectural, retail, construction, foam sealant, and home pest control industries.
Laura has a Bachelor’s in Advertising from the College of Communications at the University of Illinois.
Lindsay Sihilling has been a writer with Visintine and Ryan since 2010. She writes across a wide discipline of content, specializing in arts and culture, health and wellness, and architecture and design.
Lindsay is the agency’s jack-of all-trades writer. She crafts irresistible pitches for the media, generates web copy that keeps readers scrolling, and gets a kick out of writing wry, quirky blog posts. She is a frequent contributor to Feast Magazine, where she has the honor of introducing new, hip restaurants to hungry Missouri readers.
With a degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri- Columbia, Lindsay graduated with departmental distinction for her thesis on Raymond Carver’s drinking poems and once won a Halloween costume contest dressed as Ms. Frizzle. She is also a certified holistic health and nutrition coach. For fun, she loves to hike, experiment with recipes and work in her garden.
Leslie Adcock, Account Representative & Creative Director
Leslie takes a fresh look at each new project. Whether it is booking and merchandising the perfect fashion segment for NBC, ABC and FOX networks affiliates or creating fabulous corporate and family events or art directing a photo shoot, Leslie knows how to get it done. Her technical training, creativity, energy and organizational skills work in harmony to piece together the most intricate puzzles.
Leslie is a St. Louis native, married and has three grown children. Committed to giving back to the community, she serves on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together
St. Louis. She is passionate about her two rescue dogs, Annie and Bella, and in her spare time plays golf, hikes and enjoys her newest passion: Stand Up Paddle Yoga.
